Center for DoD User Productivity Enhancement and Technology Transfer – Mississippi State University
As part of the Department of Defense’s High Performance Computing Modernization Program(HPCMP), the Center for DoD User Productivity Enhancement and Technology Transfer at the Stennis Space Center and the Army Engineering Research & Development Center at Vicksburg provides 40% of the Department’s high performance computing power. These supercomputers aid scientists and engineers in solving computational problems related to military and security research and development.
Mississippi State also participates in the DoD’s User Productivity Enhancement and Technology Transfer (PET) with other partners, leading in Enabling Technologies. Through the PET, the university researches and develops computational technology to address problems in analytical visualization, remote visualization, data mining, mesh generation and more. This includes providing evaluation of the software, deploying it, providing expert support and training.

Center for Manufacturing Technology Excellence – East Mississippi Community College
Located in Mayhew at the Golden Triangle Campus, 12 miles east of Starkville, the Center offers industry-driven training to create technically proficient workers. The facility includes two computer labs, a 70-seat auditorium, 2 classrooms, and a commons area which can be used for trade shows or conferences.
