Raspet Flight Research Lab – Mississippi State University
Located at the Bryan Municipal Field in Starkville, this premier university research facility is part of the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Mississippi State University. Bryan Field has a 5,500-foot runway.

Department of Aerospace Engineering – Mississippi State University
This academic program focuses on hands-on experience for students in research with faculty and in several different laboratories including the Raspet Flight Research Lab. The undergraduate program focuses on the analysis, design, testing, and prediction of performance of aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft which operate in the atmosphere, outer space, or in a fluid medium. Major areas of study include aerodynamics, propulsion, flight mechanics, structures, stability and control, astrodynamics, composite materials, and multidisciplinary design. The graduate program focuses on fluid dynamics, structural mechanics, flight mechanics and controls, flight test engineering, and design optimization.

Workforce Training
Center for Manufacturing Technology Excellence – East Mississippi Community College
Located in Mayhew at the Golden Triangle Campus, 12 miles east of Starkville, the Center offers industry-driven training to create technically proficient workers. The facility includes two computer labs, a 70-seat auditorium, 2 classrooms, and a commons area which can be used for trade shows or conferences.
GTR Global Industrial Aerospace Park
Located 20 miles from Starkville, this aerospace park is adjacent to the Golden Triangle Regional Airport.
